Back to Flowers
Alstroemeria is a colourful flower that is often used with other flowers to create an arrangement or bouquet.
Each stem of alstroemeria has a number of small blooms attached to its stem. There is a wide range of colours available with white, red, orange, pink, and yellow being some
of the more popular colours. There are also two-tone alstroemeria that consist of two different colours.
Initially, the blooms on a stem of alstroemeria are closed. However, after a short period of time, the blooms slowly open
to show their beauty. Looking closely at a bloom on a stem of alstroemeria, one can see pretty markings near the center of the bloom. Since the blooms are relatively small, alstroemeria is usually combined with other flowers in a bouquet or arrangement.
However, a bunch of alstroemeria by itself in a vase can brighten any area of a room.
Even though the blooms on an alstroemeria may look fragile, they can last as long as other flowers by regularly changing the water in the vase. They can be used
in arrangements for one day events or in reception area arrangements that are on display for multiple days.
Alstroemeria are available throughout the year. We try to maintain quantities of the common colours listed above. Depending on availability, we also
try to purchase other seasonal colours for sale.
