Back to Flowers
The dendrobium orchid is a beautiful flower that can be used in a number of different arrangements. Each dendrobium orchid stem consists of a number of blooms (approximately six to ten blooms per stem).
When used in flower arrangements and bouquets, the entire stem with the attached blooms is used. When the blooms are detached from the stem, they can be used in boutonnieres and corsages.
Dendrobium orchids come in different colours and colour combinations. The most common colours include pure white and
a two-tone white and hot pink combination. One can also obtain a two-tone white and light pink dendrobium orchid. Another interesting colour combination
is a two-tone dark blue and purple combination. This colour of dendrobium orchid is colour-dyed which means that it could leave a stain or mark on clothing if used in a boutonniere or
corsage. The vibrant dendrobium orchid colours make them a great choice for inclusion in tropical-coloured flower arrangements and bouquets.
While dendrobium orchids look fragile with blooms that could easily blow away in a strong wind, they are surprisingly strong and can be used in flower arrangements that need to be
displayed for a number of days. As indicated above, dendrobium orchid colours are vivid and are therefore ideal when a blast of colour is needed in an area that is rather dull or drab.
Dendrobium orchids are usually available all year round. We try to maintain quantities of the white and white-hot pink dendrobium orchids.
