Ginger

Back to Flowers

Ginger is a tropical flower that can be used to add a touch of paradise to any flower arrangement or bouquet.

Ginger has a beautiful dark red bloom and can be obtained with a short, medium, or long stem. While dark red is the most popular and available colour, one can also obtain ginger with a pink bloom. Long stem ginger are often used in large flower arrangements placed in large open rooms or lobbies. The shorter stem ginger are used in flower arrangements that can be placed on desks and tables.

Since ginger grows naturally in tropical environments, they prefer warm and humid environments. In dry environments like closed office spaces or lounges that are sometimes dry, ginger can lose their colour and become very crispy quite quickly. To maintain the quality of the bloom, it is helpful to spray a little water on the bloom on a regular basis.

Ginger is available throughout the year. In particular, the dark red ginger can be obtained on a regular basis. The pink ginger may not be available at certain times and so it is best to order pink ginger in advance.
